Volume
We measure the volume of your move in cubic feet, specifically the cubic feet of the items we’re moving for you. When we provide a quote, we use our furniture and item calculator to estimate your move’s volume, ensuring we reserve the right-sized truck and provide an accurate quote. We create a detailed inventory of all your items to determine the precise cubic footage.
Mileage
The distance from your first location to your final destination, including any stops along the way.
Special Requests & Complexity
Do you have a large, delicate item you need moved? Are you in a building with stairs or tight corners? These factors help us determine the best process for your move and any additional manpower needed.

- Standard Valuation Protection: Your items are protected up to 60 cents per pound per article.
- Loading and Unloading: Our professional movers will carefully load and unload your belongings, placing and setting up furniture at your new home.
- Blanket Wrapping: All furniture is blanket-wrapped at no additional charge to ensure protection during transport.
- Disassembly and Reassembly: We’ll disassemble and reassemble standard furniture items as needed.
- Packing and Unpacking: If included in your estimate, we’ll pack and unpack your boxes.
All Local Moves Also Include:
- TV Boxes: We provide TV boxes for all your TVs (rental at no extra charge).
- Picture Bins: Your pictures are safe in our picture bins (rental at no extra charge).

Non-Transportable Items:
For safety and legal reasons, we cannot move the following items:
- Jewelry: Includes precious metals, gemstones, and watches.
- Hazardous Materials: Includes chemicals, explosives, or corrosive substances.
- Flammable Liquids: Includes gasoline, propane, or lighter fluid.
- Equipment Containing Fuel: Lawnmowers, motorcycles, etc., must be drained of fuel before transport.
