Valuation Coverage Options

We provide three tiers of valuation coverage, each designed to suit different levels of protection. Explore the options below and choose the one that’s right for your move.

Option 1: Included Coverage
This basic coverage comes standard with every move at no additional cost. Under this option, your belongings are protected for up to 60 cents ($0.60) per pound per article in case of loss or damage. Ideal for those seeking standard protection at no added expense.

Option 2: Extended Coverage
If you’re looking for greater peace of mind, our extended coverage is available at a rate of $20 per $1000 of valuation. With this option:

• Your shipment will be covered up to the estimated value you provide, or $1.25 per pound, whichever is greater.
• A minimum coverage amount of $5000 is automatically included, and you can select a maximum valuation of $50000.
• All moves under this plan are subject to a $1000 deductible.

This enhanced coverage is recommended for those with high-value items or those seeking comprehensive protection for their belongings.

Option 3: Third-Party Coverage
For ultimate flexibility, Expo Movers offers the option to secure third-party valuation coverage through movinginsurance.com. Select Expo Movers NYC Corp as your moving company, and gain access to tailored coverage options directly from a third-party provider.

Please Note: To secure third-party coverage, policies must be purchased at least two days prior to your moving date. Coverage estimates are valid for 14 days.

Certificate of Insurance (COI) Available Upon Request

For moves involving buildings that require proof of insurance, Expo Movers offers a Certificate of Insurance (COI). This document can be requested at no additional cost to provide building management with proof of coverage and compliance. If your building requires a COI, simply let us know, and we’ll handle the rest.
